Mén-zu: The Quest of Truth into Wisdom

Amongst Earth-based cultures, from ancient times right up into current time, the Moon has been recognized and honored as the masculine principle of The Bringer of Fertility. Known by as many names as there are cultures that have honored him, I refer to him as Mén-zu.

As Mén-zu journeys through the celestial complement of family members (the other planets) he reclaims our Soul Essences that have been disengaged through trauma, disenfranchisement, disempowerment, etc.

I am offering to engage Mén-zu and return those Soul Essences. This requires that I 'become' Mén-zu and that I draw into myself each of the Soul Essences - of those who so request - that are engaged during the Journey of Mén-zu. These Soul Essences are then returned, with honor and care, to the individual. The individuals who make that request of me will receive, in addition, personalized accounts of which Soul Essences have been encountered and returned, as well as an accounting of their nature.

Special attention will be given to your own relevant astrological archetypal aspects (conjunctions or oppositions, squares and trines) of Moon/Mén-zu with the planets encountered during this month-long journey. These will be presented in the form of a story telling of the Mythic adventure of Mén-zu as he circles around the sky. The astrological chart is used as a Map of the Soul, by which we are able to discern which archetypal characteristics of a person's life are being activated, and therefore, which archetypal characters present themselves on the theatrical stage of our Soul.

Four reports will be issued, one each at the beginning of each quarter-phase of the Moon. This will enable a person to work with the activations of Mén-zu as the week unfolds.

Following is an outline of the Journey of Mén-zu as he makes his sojourn from the Solar Eclipse of November 24/25^th, 2011 through the Lunar Eclipse of December 10^th, culminating with the New Moon of December 24^th, 2011.

New Moon/Solar Eclipse - 1^st Quarter: 11/24 - 12/2

1Q-1) Mén-zu is birthed from the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, initiating him as the Questor of Truth.

1Q-2) Immediately he is given the Quest of Truth by the Ancestors (Lunar North Node in Sagittarius).

1Q-3) He soon meets with Mercury/Knowledge Bringer in the evening sky.

1Q-4) Shortly thereafter Mén-zu meets with Venus/Love Triumphant, also in the evening sky, for a spectacular engagement in Capricorn.

1Q-5) He is very quickly drawn into the Underworld Realm of Pluto/Arawan-hua, Lord of Darkness, the place where all our terrible truths are hidden.

1Q-6) Mén-zu meets with Neptune/Beautiful Young Maiden-Old Woman and slips into the fluid realms of Dream.

1^st Quarter - Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse: 12/2 - 12/10

2Q-1) Mén-zu is met by the Prince of Chaos/Uranus in Aries.

2Q-2) Having extricated himself from the Chaos, and embraced its gift, he steps into the midst of a battle between His Uncles, the Lord of Fortune/Jupiter and that Lord's brother, the King of the Realm/Saturn.

2Q-3) Mén-zu receives an Empowerment from the Ancestors (Lunar South Node in Gemini) that enables him to go forth upon his Quest of Truth.

2Q-4) As the Lunar Eclipse occurs Mén-zu is initiated as Psychopomp, one who assists the Spirits to cross over to the Other Side.

2Q-5) The Knowledge imparted to Mén-zu by Mercury/Knowledge Bringer matures and is revealed.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse - 3^rd Quarter: 12/10 - 12/17

3Q-1) Mén-zu moves into dynamic (opposition) relationship with Pluto/Arawan-hua.

3Q-2) Next comes the recovery of the Divine Feminine/Venus.

3Q-3) Mén-zu breaks the spell of fantasy (opposition with Neptune) that has revealed itself during his in the Dream.

3Q-4) Mén-zu receives his Weapons of the Sacred (Mars in Virgo).

3^rd Quarter - New Moon/4^th Quarter: 12/17 - 12/24

4Q-1) Mén-zu seeks to bring harmony out of the Chaos (opposition with Uranus in Aries).

4Q-2) Coming to terms with his relatives his Quest is ennobled with the Secrets of the Ancestors (conjunct Saturn in Scorpio), enabling him to be heir to their blessings (opposition Jupiter in Taurus).

4Q-3) The Wisdom of the Quest is integrated, as Mén-zu becomes the embodiment of Knowledge into Wisdom (conjunct Mercury/Knowledge Bringer).

4Q-4) His Quest of Truth has earned him Wisdom (North Lunar Node in Sagittarius).

4Q-5) Mén-zu becomes the Initiate of Wisdom (New Moon in Capricorn).
